What you'll do?

• Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and yearly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, analysis, and audit schedules.
• Prepare financial analysis on company spending and costing (fixed assets/inventory/direct cost/overhead) as well as generating reports highlighting and explaining significant variances to forecast.
• Responsible for fixed asset reconciliations, maintenance, depreciation calculations and all aspects of reporting
• Responsible for weekly inventory analysis, reporting and monthly reconciliation.
• Support periodic forecasting requirements (fixed assets, CIP and inventory)
• Support other audit requirements as required.
• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements.
• Collaboration with cross functional teams to ensure financial results and analysis align with overall financial goals.
  
  

What you'll bring?

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent.
• 3 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Prior experience with an ERP accounting software and Hyperion is considered and asset.
• The successful candidate must be able to handle high pressure situations and prioritize tasks effectively with great attention to detail. Ideal candidates must highly motivated with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
