We are seeking a seasoned warehouse supervisor to lead and optimize warehouse operations in our high-turnover manufacturing environment. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient management of inventory, adapting to change, and maintaining a productive team. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, exceptional ERP expertise, and strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of implementing effective inventory strategies. APICS certification is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations Management

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Optimize workflows and processes to meet high inventory turnover demands and minimize downtime.

Inventory Management

  • Implement and maintain advanced inventory management strategies to ensure accuracy and minimize stock discrepancies.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with procurement and production teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and avoid stockouts or overstock situations.

Change Management

  • Lead the warehouse team through organizational and procedural changes, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Develop and communicate change strategies effectively, fostering a positive and adaptable work environment.
  • Train and mentor team members to adopt new processes and technologies.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve operational goals and maintain high performance.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative culture that emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

ERP Systems & Technology

  • Leverage ERP systems to manage inventory, streamline processes, and generate insightful reports.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry and system updates to support business decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance ERP utilization and efficiency within warehouse operations.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and implement best practices to improve warehouse efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs to measure operational performance and drive improvements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in warehouse supervision, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Certifications: APICS Certified (e.g., CPIM or CSCP) strongly preferred.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of inventory management strategies and high-turnover environments. Expertise in ERP systems and data-driven decision-making. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proven ability to manage and implement change effectively.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 40 per week
