About The Role:
Provide timely and error-free administrative support to Category Management and stores regarding SKU File management (focus on data integrity), marketing activities and vendor set-up.
Workplace Arrangements:
This role will follow a hybrid remote/onsite schedule. Applicants for this role can expect to work on-site from our Ottawa Head Office, on Walkley Road 1-2 days a week for an 8-5 schedule.
What You'll be Doing:
- SKU File maintenance, including sku creation, delistings, pricing updates, image maintenance and reclassifications; focus on data integrity, related support files, and communicating changes to cross-functional teams
- Vendor administration: domestic vendor set up and issuance of all vendor and private label manuals; provide all information to vendor inquiries for new vendors; update vendor profile as required and communicating new store openings
- Administrative support for import quote sheet execution
- Category/assortment administrative support: colour cards, purchase logs and flyer boards
- Support the ad event/promotions process with the initial entry of product information
- Reply to store inquiries and requests related to sku maintenance and vendor set up
- Response to Buying Help Desk inquiries re: SKU File and RTV/RTW: communicate info required to Buying Help Desk
- Liaising with Supply Chain for the creation and release of short-term teams to stores
- Ad-hoc projects to support Merchants and Operations
What You'll Bring:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience, ideally in retail
- 1-3 years work experience (ideally in retail - either store or buying office)
- Excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills
- Demonstrable attention to detail and values data integrity
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Teams, Excel)
Assets You May Have:
- Bilingual English and French
- Systems experience with AS400 (JDA), PLM, BI or similar software applications
