As a Project Manager, you will oversee construction projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to drive project success.

My client is a leading general contractor specializing in complex institutional, industrial, and commercial construction projects. With a focus on projects between $5 million and $80 million+ they are proud to deliver innovative and community-focused projects such as community centers, hockey arenas, libraries, fire halls, and long-term care facilities.
Description
- Manage the full project lifecycle for contracts ranging from $5M to $50M (average $25M-$40M).
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to align on project goals.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project or Primavera.
- Utilize Procore to manage documentation, workflows, and reporting.
- Oversee budgeting, risk management, and quality control processes.
- Build and mentor high-performing project teams, ensuring alignment with company values and objectives.
Profile
Education & Experience:
- Degree in Engineering or Architecture from a recognized Canadian university or college.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience (Junior PM) or 15+ years (Senior PM).
- Proven success in delivering 3-5 full-cycle complex institutional projects, such as community centers, police stations, or long-term care facilities.
Certifications (Preferred):
- PMP (Project Management Professional).
- LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).
- Gold Seal Certification.
Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, and Primavera.
- Strong ability to manage budgets, schedules, and teams across multiple stakeholders.
