Job Description:

TD Business Banking provides financial solutions to Canadian businesses of all sizes across a wide range of industries.

The Fund my Business job family is responsible for the strategy to modernizing the Business Customers borrowing experience, delivering on the Business Customers borrowing needs and supporting the management and growth of our Business Customers through delivering competitive and customized lending solutions.

Reporting to the Senior Manager/Pod Product Owner (Make it Easier to Do Business), this role will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a re-engineered/ modernized Business Banking Credit process with the objectives of transformational change by reducing time to decision and funding across all segments and reducing the overall effort across the end-to-end credit journey while maintaining sound risk management and compliance.

Accountabilities will include:

  • Support Credit Document Harmonization between various Line of Business under Business Banking and document requirements for Digitization
  • Conduct regular, ongoing analysis, evaluation / assessment and review of current and future state business processes/ procedures within the assigned business area
  • Gather required information and document current and future processes, provide input and recommendations to support process improvement
  • Support streamlining and standardizing processes– mitigate errors, reduce risk, providing consistency
  • Support status reporting, communication and deliverables on initiatives
  • Support development of presentations and dissemination of information
  • Build effective relationships with team members and key business stakeholders
  • Analyze the feasibility and impact of new initiatives
  • Understand and contribute to department objectives
  • Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite
  • Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest

Job Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field
  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term
  • Skillful in using MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint), Analytical tools and techniques and project and risk management methodologies
  • Strong business communication skills

  • This position is a 4-month work term and will commence May 5th – August 29th, 2025.
