The Opportunity

  • Review client background information, interview clients to obtain necessary case history, and prepare intake reports.
  • Assess client’s relevant skills, strengths, and needs.
  • Assist clients to sort out options and develop plans of action while providing necessary support and assistance.
  • Participate in the selection and admission of clients to appropriate programs.

What You Will Bring To The Role

  • Diploma in Child and Youth Care or social work,
  • 2 years’ experience in Child Welfare field; OR
  • Grade 12 with a minimum of 5 years office and child welfare experience.

Wage Range: The target hiring range for this position is $24.92 to $32.27 per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants’ role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
