Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Supervisor, Terminal Operations on a permanent basis on our Supply Chain team.
This position requires on-site work and is based in Prince George, British Columbia.
The Supervisor, Terminal Operations is responsible for the supervisory leadership required to provide senior level day-to-day operational support and guidance to facilitate the operations of Co-op Terminal at Prince George. The successful candidate will use their extensive knowledge in safety standards, terminal operations and compliance policies and procedures to optimal distribution of facilities. The role will provide oversight and technical guidance for fuel loading into tanks and into trucks delivering to FCL customers.
What you’ll do:
- Provide operational support and supervision to drivers and contractors using standard operating procedures.
- Use terminal operating skills and knowledge to troubleshoot and make sure that drivers utilizing the facility can load efficiently and deliver to Local Co-ops and commercial customers.
- Direct unloading activities, manage tank sampling, and work closely with PT industrial on TMS/Scada problems and/or opportunities.
- Inventory management and coordination, as well as oversee maintenance contractors and supervision of the Terminal Operator(s) in absence of Terminal Manager.
- Help with developing and contributing to preventative maintenance on site. This includes the supervision of major and minor repairs as well as managing the complete PM program for the plant.
- Complete daily, weekly, monthly and annual checklists to ensure environmental and safety compliance for the site.
- Complete TMS product additions/changes, TMS database, “Scada” management, management of spare parts, and oversee any contractor/FCL employee requirements.
- Support Terminal Manager with annual budget requirements.
- Oversee the training of drivers and contractors while on site, as well as making sure 3rd party contractors and their employees complete the necessary on-site safety and compliance training programs.

The Team: You will work closely with the Manager, Terminal Operations and will have three (3) Terminal Operators reporting to you.

Who you are:
- Have 6-9 years of relevant, progressively responsible experience in terminal and fuel loading operations.
- Have a 2-year diploma (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Are familiar with fuel product knowledge, fuel transfer and Toptech TMS systems.
- Safe fuel loading knowledge is considered an asset.
