Purpose of Role: The Mechanical Assembler contributes to the efficiency of manufacturing lines and the overall success of manufacturing operations by ensuring that all mechanical components are assembled according to specifications, leading to the efficient manufacturing of high-quality finished products. Their contributions are essential for meeting manufacturing targets and satisfying customer demands for finished goods.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment using blueprints, diagrams, and instructions.
- Use hand and power tools to perform precise and efficient assembly tasks.
- Inspect parts for defects and ensure quality compliance before and after assembly.
- Adjust, repair, or replace faulty components to guarantee optimal performance.
- Test completed equipment for functionality, safety, and conformance to specifications.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Fluent in English with strong spoken and written communication skills.
- Experience in metal structures, gained through on-the-job training or formal apprenticeships. College or trade school education in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic fields is a plus.
- Proven ability to progress from basic assembly tasks to more complex projects, including some soldering exposure.
- Proficient in connecting components with various wiring and connectors, ensuring the final product operates correctly and meets safety standards.
- Capable of lifting heavy objects up to 40 lbs.
- Committed to continuous learning and adapting to new techniques and technologies.
- Electronics assembly experience is an asset.
Compensation: CAD $49,000 - 52,000
