Finance Manager

The Ministry of Trade and Export Development is seeking a highly motivated, innovative and strategic leader for a 15-month term position of Manager, Finance. Reporting to the Director, Finance and Operation Services, you will be an integral member of the finance unit that is responsible for providing forecasting and budgeting expertise and financial consulting in support of the programs and strategic direction of the ministry.

The ideal candidate will have outstanding organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, extensive knowledge of corporate or government financial management and relevant experience at a senior level. The ability to think analytically and creatively to support the ministry's vision and to connect with various stakeholders at all levels is essential.

Typically, our successful candidate will have obtained the knowledge required for this position through the completion of a post-secondary degree in a related discipline combined with completion or progress towards a professional accounting designation. A combination of skills, training, and experiences providing an equivalent background will be considered. Experience with Government of Saskatchewan accounting, budgeting, and forecasting is an asset.
