Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Education Strategy & Program Development
- Lead the development of the medical education strategy and programs to support the Merz aesthetics portfolio and brand strategies
- Partner with medical affairs and marketing to ensure the clinical data & narrative within the educational programs is in line with strategy & best represents Merz brands
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand their injectable and device learnings needs and when appropriate, co-create content with health care professionals to further elevate the quality of education
- Execution & Measurement
- Create education metrics & seek feedback from HCPs to validate the success of programs and to continually improve educational offerings
- Elevate the reach and frequency of medical education through developing content that can easily be executed by the field force
- Equip the field force with the skill, knowledge and ability to successful organize and execute medical education programs
- Utilize digital platforms to invite, track and execute medical education to continue to learn and evolve the offerings
- Customer Engagement & KOL Development Strategy
- Develop a key customer & KOL engagement strategy in conjunction with commercial and medical affairs to maximize collaborations, advocacy and Merz loyalty
- Understand the needs of the identified key customers and KOLs, to ensure the engagement plan provides mutually beneficial value to Merz & the identified HCPs
- Track, monitor or coordinate the engagements with identified key customers and KOL across all functional areas to build off interactions and maximize the impact.
- Track, monitor and leverage the utilization of Canadian HCPs by Merz Global and other Regions
- Budget Management
- Appropriately manage the budget and continually assess return on investment to evolve and improve the impact
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent leadership, team building, communication (oral and written), problem solving and project management skills required. Financial skills and business acumen are essential.
- Must be able to work independently, confidently and effectively with all levels of employees.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Must be able to travel and adhere to a rigorous schedule
Experience
- BA/BS degree is required
- Broad knowledge of the Medical Device & Pharmaceutical Industries acquired through 3-5 years of experience, preferably in Aesthetics
- 2-4 years management experience as a medical education lead, product manager, training manager or sales manager
- Highly proficient in MS office suite of applications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills
