GPAC is assisting a firm in Vernon, BC to find a Litigation Lawyer Opportunity - Join Their Team in the Okanagan
Their legal team is seeking a Litigation Lawyer with 3+ years of experience in general litigation and personal injury defense to join our growing team in the Okanagan. This is a full-time, hybrid role where the successful candidate will work both remotely and in-office, visiting our location a few times each week. About the Role: The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload and will independently conduct discoveries, mediations, applications, and trials, with mentorship available for larger, more complex cases. Key Qualifications
- Member of the BC Bar in good standing, legally entitled to practice in Canada
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation, ideally with trial experience
- Strong business acumen and proficient verbal, negotiation, and drafting skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload independently, meeting all deadlines
- Effective communicator with exceptional client service abilities
- Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Competitive salary: $95,000 - $120,000, based on experience
