Position Overview:

As the Technology and Transformation Lead at Spyrosoft, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and execution of digital transformation initiatives for our client projects.

With a strong background in software engineering, cloud adoption/migration, data architecture, and enterprise systems design, you will be at the forefront of designing and delivering scalable, resilient, and innovative solutions. You will lead cross-functional teams, collaborate and engage with clients and business leaders to ensure technology solutions meet their evolving needs. This role offers a hybrid work model being based both at the client site but also remotely/at home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Digital Transformation Projects: Spearhead transformation programs, guiding clients through their cloud, data, and software engineering initiatives, while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Cloud Strategy & Implementation: Architect and implement scalable cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), providing strategic guidance on cloud migrations, optimization, and cost management.
  • Software Engineering Leadership: Lead engineering teams in delivering high-quality software solutions, implementing modern software development practices, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Data Strategy & Architecture: Develop comprehensive data strategies, designing data architectures that ensure scalability, security, and efficient data flow across the organization.
  • Enterprise Architecture Design: Provide leadership in the design and implementation of enterprise architecture, focusing on microservices, containerization, data services, APIs, and cloud-native solutions.
  • Innovation & Thought Leadership: Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies, offering innovative solutions that drive business transformation and competitive advantage.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product teams, engineering groups, and business leaders to ensure that technology solutions align with strategic business needs.
  • Client Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing high-level guidance on their technology roadmaps, digital transformation strategies, and technology adoption.
  • Pre-Sales: Ability to support Spyrosoft colleagues in technical pre-sales.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 8+ years in technology leadership roles with significant experience in software engineering, cloud technologies, data management, and enterprise architecture.
  • Cloud Expertise: In-depth experience with cloud platforms (predominantly AWS) and familiarity with cloud migration, optimization, and governance best practices.
  • Software Engineering: Proven experience leading software development teams, with a strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, frameworks, and tools.
  • Data Architecture: Strong background in designing and implementing data architectures with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
  • Enterprise Architecture: Experience in designing and implementing enterprise-grade architectures using microservices, containers, APIs, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Client Interaction: Ability to build strong relationships with clients, communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and providing actionable strategic advice.
  • Agile & DevOps: Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead teams through complex technical challenges and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Hybrid Work Flexibility: Comfortable with a hybrid work environment, balancing remote work, office-based collaboration, and occasional client site visits.

Nice to Have:

  • Cloud Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional certifications.
  • DevOps & Automation: Experience with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Terraform, Jenkins, Docker).
  • Agile/Scrum Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Product Owner certifications.
  • AI/ML Experience: Familiarity with artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies in an enterprise context.
