About the Opportunity
The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer reports to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging and is a member of the Diagnostic Imaging Team, performing patient care and technical activities. This position involves routine and specialized ultrasound procedures, ensuring proper application of ultrasound techniques and procedures.
Travel to other sites may be required.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound
- Sonography Canada certification
- Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure
- Current CPR Certification
- Comprehension of technical language to review and use manuals and participate in relevant discussions
- Previous experience is an asset
- Registration with more than one ultrasound credential is an asset
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours
- Permanent full-time position; 75 hours biweekly
- Call back, stand by, and shift work required, including days, evenings, weekends, and holiday coverage. Nights may be required.
Compensation and Incentives
$34.24 - $39.96 hourly
