Salary Range: CA$55,000.00 To CA$68,000.00 Annually, depending on experience.


The Sr. Account Representative is responsible for partnering with customers and extending the sales responsibilities at Thrive Foods. This role is an advanced level of the customer service representative as they are independent decision makers interacting with the customers. They will practice empathy and have compassion for their customers, putting their customer’s needs first and thinking outside the box to offer win-win solutions. They will have open and honest communication to build rapport with each customer. They will be able to communicate “bad news” as needed.


Essential Functions Include:

  • Manage customer relationships and daily business including mastering account knowledge, relationship history, products, packaging, specifications, customer pickup and delivery requirements for assigned accounts.
  • Prepare weekly customer updates to analyze shipping schedules, impact to the customer, and viable solutions for concerns or issues.
  • Responsible for processing orders and contracts, ensuring accurate entry in all systems as well as confirming the ability to fill the order on time, in full by working with internal customers.
  • Works with the supply chain support team to clarify customer needs and meet quality expectations, and with the Finance team to provide accurate information to bill customers.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate records, pricing,and communication between the sales team and the customer.
  • Manage revenue performance for assigned support accounts.
  • Other duties may be assigned.


Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or related field,or equivalent experience in related role
  • 3+ years of account management experience preferred
  • 2 years' experience in the food ingredients or manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Proven examples of demonstrated excellence in the workplace including empathy, compassion, exceptional attention to detail, and managing their stress.
  • Must display a cohesive ability of interpersonal and communication skills,both verbally and written.
  • Knowledge of customer service, clerical applications, transportation, and supply chain activities necessary to ensure safe and accurate movement of finished goods and raw material inventory between suppliers, customers, and distribution centers.
  • Must display a cohesive ability at interpersonal and communication skills,both verbally and written. They must be able to engage with individuals inside and outside of the organization and exercise sound judgement.


Physical Requirements – Must be able to perform the following functions with or without accommodations:

  • Consistent and reliable attendance
  • The job is performed under frequent temperature variations and in a food manufacturing production environment.
  • Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees.
  • The ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
