About Us

The Steam Generator Replacement Team (SGRT) project is a fully integrated Joint Venture of Aecon and Framatome, located in Kincardine, Ontario. SGRT is a part of the Major Component Replacement (MCR) project and includes the removal of the steam generators and the installation of replacement steam generators with related plant modifications. This project is part of Bruce Power’s Life Extension Program, which will allow Bruce Power’s CANDU units to continue to operate safely through to 2064.

The Project Administrator – Time and Attendance will report functionally to the Finance Manager.

What You'll Do Here

  • Performs administrative duties ensuring all documentation regarding timesheets and all personnel related allowances are transferred to Accounting / Bruce Power systems daily or weekly as required
  • Responsible for entering daily/weekly payroll hours via approved timesheets from SAP to Time Control
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties to maintain current and accurate records for Timekeeping, Project Controls, etc.
  • Collect, and verify daily labour timesheets for completeness and payroll entry/processing
  • Responsible for the Time and Attendance system - employee onboarding, off boarding, daily attendance reconciliations
  • Become a subject matter expert in customers tools (Time Control, MitreFinch, etc.)
  • Assist project management in tracking analysis and forecasting of ongoing projects
  • Coordinate with the Time and Attendance System team to maintain shifts, rosters, etc.
  • Maintain filing system for payroll documents in accordance with auditing procedures
  • Assist Project Controls in tracking, monitoring, and analyzing data where applicable

What You Bring To The Team

  • Must possess 1-2 years of office related experience
  • Experience in the construction industry is an asset
  • Intermediate level of computer skills in MS Word and MS Excel
  • Experience with SAP (or similar tool) is an asset
  • Ability to work independently, accurate computer data input and record keeping
  • Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information
  • Team player, flexible and able to work well with various team members
  • Multi-tasking and work within time constraints
  • Punctual and dependable
  • Strong communication skills, ability to deal tactfully with employees, visitors, and customers
