What is the Opportunity?

Under the supervision of the Proposals Manager, this role is responsible for assisting in the creation and management of proposal/tender/quote content. In this role, you will work with multiple teams including Estimators and Operations to ensure that we are submitting high quality responses to our clients.

This is a 4- to 12-month co-op or internship opportunity beginning in May 2025.

What You'll Do Here

  • Assist with writing and reviewing various proposal sections, as needed, including executive summaries, project descriptions, resumes, standard responses, and support developing new plans with the operations and estimating teams.
  • Design or conceptualize graphics through PowerPoint – Build-a-Graphic to enhance proposal submissions.
  • Manage, monitor, and maintain the proposal content management database, and content libraries through SharePoint and Expedience.
  • Manage and develop the Digital Asset Library for the proposals team.
  • Support keeping accurate records on proposals, results, process lessons learned and debriefs.
  • Support business development initiatives in building strategy content, BD decks, and supporting pipeline management.
  • Responsible for document management of the submission and support the content/document management of the bid library.
  • Participate in proposal strategy and review sessions.

What You Bring to The Team

  • Recent graduate or current college or university student enrolled in a Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or Business degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • The ability to manage internal projects in a deadline-orientated environment.
  • Strong English language and writing skills, with a high attention to detail and the ability to proofread and edit content.
  • Strong computer skills and expertise in Microsoft Office (specifically Word and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced/agile environment with competing priorities and capable of critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment with shared goals.
