About the Role: The National Field Marketing Manager is responsible for driving Partake's growth through retail penetration and community building in key markets. This position will serve an important role linking consumers' connections to the Partake brand through to the shelf. They will be responsible for creating an activation strategy that is tailored to their region and will act as the local marketing expert. The National Field Marketing Manager will join our growing company and work across multiple teams across the organization. They will influence local growth opportunities and be a partner with the sales team as well as conduit between the field and Marketing. They will be responsible for uncovering growth opportunities for Partake that are specific to their geography and bring them forward as opportunities to the wider team. This is an 8 month contract position.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Regional Strategy Development

  • Translate Partake Brewing's brand strategy to Field Marketing & Brand activation priorities for focus markets
  • Collaborate with Field Sales team to identify and prioritize regional brand activation opportunities
  • Identify national partnerships and alliances activation opportunities
  • Build execution plans to action on these identified activation priorities

Field Marketing Activity

  • Develop custom regional or account level point-of sale material and/or tools
  • Develop custom local / regional trade programming
  • Conduct staff trainings and brand education events (virtual or in-person)
  • Other promotional, educational, or executional Field Sales support tasks as needed

Plan & Execute Experiential Marketing & Brand Activation

  • National & Regional partnerships events
  • Experiential marketing activations, large product sampling / demo events
  • Events & activations supporting Field Marketing initiatives
  • Trade Shows
  • Coordinate local and national sampling / demo executions with agency partners

Influencer Marketing

  • Build a network of relevant influencers (people, groups, communities, entities) in assigned markets
  • Cultivate relationships with influencers to drive penetration in local communities and centers of influence
  • Leverage influencer network to uncover Field Marketing and XM opportunities
  • Collaborate and support the Digital and Social Marketing team with content capture or other field support needs

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A track record of awesome event execution in field Marketing, brand activation, or experiential marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to represent a brand in market in a professional way
  • Strong interpersonal skills & customer service skills
  • Ability to sell, tell a brand's story, and act as a brand ambassador for the brand with both customers and consumers
  • A great team player - works well with others internally and externally
  • Ability to build a local network, engage with local influencers, and build community
  • Ambitious self-starter, can work independently and succeed without close supervision
  • Motivated and organized with the ability to set priorities and have great attention to detail
  • Proactive mindset and get-it-done attitude with the openness to test and learn and willingness to optimize and pivot when necessary
  • Competitive spirit who is hungry for achieving results and growing a brand and business from the ground up
  • Willingness to travel locally within the priority geographies. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new things and apply them - Post-secondary education is a great example (especially if it's in Marketing!)
  • Consumer Beverage, Beverage Alcohol, or CPG industry experience is preferred
  • Hold a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Have access to a personal vehicle suitable for the tasks associated with the role. This includes but is not limited to: transporting sampling product, activation tools, custom point of sale or visibility material, etc. (Partake will provide a monthly car allowance)
