Make an impact with our Accounting team as a Payment Application Administrator. This diverse team of professionals are committed to delivering firm-wide financial solutions with expertise and precision. As a trusted advisor, you’ll compile, analyze, summarize and monitor financial data and reports that are integral to understanding the financial position of our firm.

Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and update account and small bank reconciliations
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of cash receipts applications and postings
- Communicate with internal team members and external stakeholders to answer inquiries regarding payments
- Facilitate client refunds
- Update and maintain daily bank balances
- Maintain our client inbox
- Utilize our internal payment systems to:
- Assist in resolving unapplied payments
- Receive US dollars and convert to Canadian dollars to post payments
- Enter banking transactions
- Ensure internal payment systems are balanced
- Conduct research and respond to internal business partners to resolve requests
- Collaborate to review upcoming team deadlines and work requirements
- Coordinate the flow of work to specific team members (such as documents for review or signatures)
- Support with filing systems, ad-hoc reports, and ad-hoc projects as needed
- Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, businesses, and industry
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
- A strong focus on client service when communicating with team members and external stakeholders
- Intermediate competency with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Highly organized, efficient, and able to juggle multiple priorities
- Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
- Ability to work and collaborate in a professional setting
- Strong spoken and written communication skills
- The following would be considered an asset:
- Ability to speak French and English (written and Oral)
- Prior experience working in a partnership or professional services firm
