Territory Sales Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic Territory Sales Manager to join our Codman Specialty Surgical Division in Atlantic Canada. In this role, you will drive sales growth by engaging with clinical and administrative stakeholders across hospitals, building long-term partnerships, and executing strategies to exceed revenue targets.

With your deep understanding of the healthcare sector and a results-driven approach, you will be instrumental in advancing our mission of delivering innovative surgical solutions.
This home-office location is Atlantic Canada (preferably Halifax or Moncton based)
Your Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Drive sales of CSS products within targeted hospital accounts.
- Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including clinical staff, hospital administration, and patient associations.
- Offer in-depth product expertise and support during surgeries, ensuring customer confidence and satisfaction.
Program Development and Support:
- Develop and implement account-specific strategies in alignment with company objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with RFP teams to secure contracts and ensure compliance with existing agreements.
Operational Excellence:
- Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce.com to maintain account coordination and optimize sales strategies.
- Monitor territory budgets, adhering to company expense policies.
- Professional Development:
- Stay informed on product specifications, industry trends, and surgical outcomes to provide exceptional guidance to clients.
- Represent the company at regional and national meetings as needed.
Essential Qualifications
- A four-year degree in a relevant field.
- Proven success in medical device sales, with operating room (OR) experience; ICU experience is a strong asset.
- Demonstrated skills in business planning, consulting, and territory financial analysis.

- Strong conceptual/consultative sales approach.
- Proficiency in data analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving.
- Experience growing market share by engaging clinical and non-clinical decision-makers.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across functions.
Technical Proficiency
- Strong computer literacy and experience with CRM systems like Salesforce.com.
