The Compliance Administrator (CA) is responsible for the administrative tasks and support for the Compliance Team. Reporting to the Manager, Trade Compliance (TCM), the CA will be responsible to execute administrative tasks based on the contractual and regulatory requirements on behalf of the three departments (Data Compliance, Industrial Compliance and Trade Compliance).

  • Responsible for the preparation and submission of permits/authorizations/agreements as applicable.
  • Responsible for the creation, implementation, development, and maintenance of appropriate record keeping for the above activities, through formal repositories and trackers.
  • Responsible to enter and submit data entry requirements for contract deliverable responses, and tailoring subcontract Statement of Work. Ensure accuracy of input.
  • Responsible to perform verification of Compliance requirements for access control.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and delivery of metrics reporting against overall Compliance activities, such as contractual and regulatory deliverables, department KPIs, and metrics against registered processes.
  • Provide support to the Compliance team, to create and develop process documentation and training materials as necessary. Support auditing activities as appropriate.
  • Responsible for monitoring and triaging Compliance inboxes. Organize and manage team records, e-mails and other information repositories. Maintain various tracker, and process signature requests as required. Escalating issues to the TCM as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: Post Secondary Education considered an asset.
  • Experience in Office Administration.
  • Experience in Shipbuilding, Defense Projects, Trade Compliance, Information Management, Controlled Goods, Contract Security Program, Legal, Document Control or Procurement considered an asset.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite; emphasis with MS Word, Visio and PowerPoint.
