Zurich Canada is currently looking for a Community Impact Program Manager to oversee and manage all our community and charitable partnerships across Canada. This role will work closely with the Z Zurich Foundation to ensure our community impact efforts align with our global mission and values. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community engagement, partnership management, and project planning.

This is a hybrid work opportunity.

What you will do

  • Lead Zurich Canada's charitable grants program in collaboration with partnering non-profit organizations.
  • Oversee the grant application process, including evaluation, selection, and reporting.
  • Facilitate and coordinate the development of new charitable proposals.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify and prioritize community needs.
  • Develop innovative and impactful proposals that align with Zurich Canada's strategic goals.
  • Contribute to and execute on Zurich Canada's community impact strategy.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community impact initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Partner with leaders across the business to embed community giving into Zurich Canada's culture and operations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with non-profit organizations, community groups, and other stakeholders.
  • Represent Zurich Canada at community events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to communicate the impact of Zurich Canada's community initiatives to internal and external audiences.
  • Prepare and present reports on community impact activities and outcomes.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Non-Profit Management, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in community engagement, corporate social responsibility, or non-profit management.
  • Proven track record of managing charitable partnerships and grants.
  • Strong strategic planning and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Passion for community service and social impact.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian non-profit sector and charitable giving regulations.
