The Opportunity
The Director of IT Services role is to plan, organize, and manage staff to ensure stable operations and support of AGI’s end users and Vendor Partner eco-system. The Director would be responsible in ensuring a high level of IT customer service. The Director of IT Services would also be responsible for directing the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems, business operations, and partner with the business and assess requirement for system improvements. In addition, the leader would work closely with our Application Management Services vendor support Oracle Cloud new releases and changes.

The Director of IT Services has a close coordination with various other IT teams like Applications, Security and EPMO, as well as IT’s Business Partners to drive towards common enterprise-wide objectives.

Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Develop strategic vision for technologies related to Cloud and AI (adopt shift to cloud approach), and plan to retire legacy on-prem systems securely & reliably for AGI
- Articulate a strategy that is forward-looking, enables AGI to realize its enterprise-wide objectives and is easy to understand for both Business and IT leaders
- Business development planning and acquiring the correct technology
- Responsible for budget planning for the IT Department.
- Managing Oracle quarterly deployment and roadmap working with business partners, including development of business cases.
- Managing Salesforce quarterly deployment and roadmap working with business partners, including development of business cases.
- Will be responsible for managing any future enterprise software including roadmaps, business cases, etc.
- Responsible on managing internal AGI Service Desk (L1, L1.5, L2).
- Ensure that standards and procedures are in place for team to perform their day-to-day operations.
- Monitors for response-time of AGI Service desk.
- Regularly communicate what the team is doing and how their work relates to the success AGI.
- Manage job performance of the team, including coaching, feedback, schedule requests, and annual performance evaluations.
- Work closely with Application Management Services team (AMS Deloitte), ensuring SLAs are met and prompt resolution of Oracle Cloud Incidents.
- Provide leadership, establish service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure those are met by the internal AGI IT team and vendors supporting AGI.
- Develops and implements methodologies to improve ticket resolution, to manage customer perceptions, and to build strong internal and external relationships.
- Oversees the creation and sustainability of standard operational procedures, best practices and other relevant documentation based on best practices, real-time and historical data and reporting.
- Manage relationships with consultants and business partners.
- Collaborate with IT leader, and HR to establish and maintain a system for ensuring that security and privacy policies are met.
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, system analysis, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years experience working in a relevant leadership position
- Excellent understanding of typical multi-tier architectures: web servers, caching, application servers, load balancers, and storage
- Knowledge of message queuing and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
- Experience in financial forecasting and budget management
- Outstanding negotiation skills for IT support services to be rendered
- Excellent understanding of current legislation and regulations relevant to our organization
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- First-rate written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle
- Awareness of end-user computing and collaborative technologies
- Large-scale distributed systems architecture.
