Brokered Worker - Home Maintenance and Repair

Position: Self-employed, Brokered Worker within the Niagara Region

Purpose: Offering services to older adults and adults living with a disability

Responsibilities:

• Mandatory completion of: Happy in my Home application form, interview, Criminal Record check at your expense and agency orientation
• Support older adults and adults with disabilities with various home maintenance such as lawn care, gardening, minor home repairs, heavy lifting, snow removal, and general labour
• The ideal Brokered Worker is kind, caring, and compassionate
• The ideal Brokered Worker has good verbal and written communication skills
• The ideal Brokered Worker has the ability to speak a second language is an asset
• Previous experience in a dedicated field of work preferred (i.e., license, years of experience, etc.)
