NACG is looking for Parts Runners to work on a remote mining site in the Fort McMurray area. You must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else.

This is your opportunity to join one of the safest and largest contracts in the region.

For this role, NACG offers a combined rate of up to $51.29/hour as well as room for growth!

Where You’ll Be Working

Site Syncrude Aurora

Schedule 14x14 (days) - 12 hours (paid for 11.5 hours)

Accommodations Camp not provided.

Transportation Bussing to and from site in Fort McMurray.

Overtime Provided after 8 hours a day or 44 hours a week

We are proud to work with the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 955. Successful candidates will become a part of that union.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Perform general warehouse duties, including stocking, organizing, and maintaining inventory.
  • Efficiently organize and store parts and supplies to ensure accessibility and proper stock management.
  • Pick up parts and supplies from local vendors as required.
  • Transfer parts between sites and business units and manage general deliveries with accuracy and timeliness.


What Makes You The One

  • Proficiency with inventory management software and warehouse operations.
  • Previous warehouse experience is mandatory.
  • Proven experience operating forklifts and loaders is required.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Experience in the mining industry is considered an asset.


What's Next

If you are chosen to move forward in our hiring process for a site-based role, you will be asked to provide the following

  • Provide a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and ability to provide a recent Driver’s Abstract
  • Valid CSO or BSO
  • Be subject to Random Testing at Suncor, Suncor Fort Hills and Kearl sites
  • Undergo and successfully pass the following pre-employment testing
    • Breath Alcohol Test
    • Urine Drug Test
    • Fitness-to-Work Health Assessment
    • Audiometric Testing
    • Vision Screening
    • Criminal Record Check
Once dispatched the following processes will occur

  • Will receive a call from NACG to set up all required pre-employment testing
  • An email will be sent with all required New Hire Paperwork to be filled out
  • After all results and paperwork are received by NACG, candidates will be contacted by Site Admin to schedule orientation and confirm your start date and other site-specific details.
