The Customer Solution Specialist role is a domain expert for geoscience in the civil and environment industry, focusing on supporting the growth opportunities, training, and support of Seequent’s civil and environmental solutions. This role involves close interaction with users from trial stages to ongoing engagement, ensuring they feel important and well-supported. Responsibilities include providing technical and sales support, mentoring team members, and developing expertise in workflows facilitated by Leapfrog Works and Central.
As part of a global Expert Services team, the role contributes to Civil engineering, environmental geoscience, and geotechnical solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Share expert-level product knowledge and integrated solutions with users in the Environmental and Civil sector.
- Work with the sales team to provide product demonstrations, understand customer needs, set trial expectations, and develop implementation plans.
- Act as the regional technical advocate for Seequent’s Civil and Environmental portfolio, including internal training.
- Utilize information platforms to understand client portfolios and diversity of users.
- Provide remote technical support and manage user interactions to successful resolutions.
- Conduct user health checks and embed software upgrades proactively.
- Maintain client accounts in CRM updated with latest information.
- Deliver training sessions on Leapfrog Works and Central, typically 1-2 sessions per month.
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and work to improve outcomes.
- Represent the voice of the customer in Asia Pacific.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in geotechnical investigations, geological modelling, and/or conceptual site models.
- Experience with relevant software modelling solutions.
- Fluency in English at a technical and professional level.
- Operational experience in civil/groundwater engineering projects.
- Experience in a large civil consultancy or ground engineering services firm.
- Experience using Leapfrog Works.
- Experience in Geostudio and/or PLAXIS.
- Experience in commercial software projects or testing.

Additional Information
Office-based working environment in Toronto or Christchurch 2+ days per week.
