About the position:

As an Inside Sales Representative at Univar Solutions, you will be responsible for managing accounts assigned within a geographic sales territory. In the role you will close new business opportunities at both existing and prospective accounts while increasing your territory profitably and market share using a consultative selling process.

What you’ll do:

• Identify, generate, and develop sales leads to close.
• Manage and grow the opportunity funnel for new and existing customers.
• Drive > 40 sales calls per week with quick customer follow up, quotes, and service.
• Continuously research the market and prospect for new industries and customers.
• Collect competitive intelligence and provide feedback to product owners and sales leaders.
• Update and maintain customer information in SalesForce.com (SFDC).
• Sell new products and drive focused sales campaigns.
• Periodically travel to key customers for in person meetings and personal sales development.

What we would like from you:

• University degree or diploma and two (2) years’ specialized training in related field (i.e. chemistry, sales).
• Minimum 1-year previous sales experience preferred.
• Take an entrepreneurial approach to your process with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to relate to and communicate with individuals at all levels.
• Results driven and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• SalesForce.com experience an asset.
