About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Business Manager, the Procurement Coordinator is responsible for the effective and efficient procurement of goods and services including Capital Equipment for the Heart Health program. This position will also assist with the contract management process for the Heart Health program which includes but is not limited to; contract amendment requests, new contract builds and involvement in RFP related projects. We require the ability to successfully establish & build cross-functional relationships with vendors, clinical teams and other government institutions to meet set deadlines for contractual priorities.

About You

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Finance or Engineering
  • 3-5 years contract coordinating experience considered an asset
  • CFSP, CFSMM, PMAC or P.log considered an asset
  • SAP experience considered an asset
  • Excellent communication skills along with strong financial, conceptual and analytical skills
  • Works well cross-functionally, both with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to organize, control and coordinate a variety of activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work and grow in a team environment as well as be independent with integrity and proactive problem solving
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • Possesses a solid understanding of supply chain process and key performance indicators
  • Experience with, and a high understanding of IT-driven supply chain
  • Negotiation skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and Word

Hours

  • Permanent Full-Time position; 75 hours biweekly

Compensation and Benefits

$37.79 - $44.29 Hourly
