Latham, the Pool Company is the largest manufacturer of fabricated pools in North America, Australia, and New Zealand, with over six decades of experience at the center of the backyard lifestyle. Our Canadian operations have expanded with a 170,000 square foot fiberglass manufacturing facility on a 148 acres site in Bath, Loyalist Township in Ontario, Canada! This new facility has enable us to more effectively and efficiently serve markets in the eastern half of Canada, as well as the Northeast and upper Midwest of the United States, producing pools for its fiberglass brands including Latham and Narellan Pools.

We are looking for full-time Production Team Members to join our rapidly growing business in Kingston,ON. Those with Fiberglass manufacturing experience are highly encouraged to apply, the starting wage will be adjusted based on the skills and experience.

What we offer:

  • Full-time, year-round work
  • Semi-annual safety shoe allowance and bi-annual prescription safety glass allowance
  • Weekly pay – you receive a direct pay deposit every week
  • Overtime payable after 40 hours

What you will do:

  • Work as part of a team to manufacture fiberglass pools
  • Work with your hands to apply gel, resin and related coatings to pools using hand tools and spray devices
  • Assemble and install parts for pools
  • Physical requirements of the position include but are not limited to prolonged standing, frequent bending/reaching/stooping, overhead work for 8 to 12 hour shifts; lifting up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, hard hat, gloves, and/or protective outerwear and safety shoes are required. Exposure to dust, odors/fumes, heat or cold (dependent upon weather conditions) and noise is typical.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have an attention to detail
  • Take pride in their work and have a passion for creating high-quality, beautiful products
  • Be a team player and work well with co-workers
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and be dependable and reliable
  • Other industrial related experience (e.g. Autobody Painter, Spray Painter, Skilled Laborer) preferred, but not required.
  • Working around heavy equipment, Cranes, Telehandlers and forklifts.

Wages: $25.07 an hour
