Location: CDI Surrey Campus
Compensation: $42,500 – $45,000/year
Job Type: Fulltime, Onsite, Permanent

Your Day to Day:
The Student Services Administrator will at various times be responsible for the following duties:
- Contributing to and monitoring the quality of the student academic experience by working with the Student Services team to develop and execute initiatives.
- Maintaining At Risk and attendance records as well as study permit system for international students.
- Coordinating emergency evacuation processes for employees and students.
- Maintaining occupational health and safety requirements for employees and students.
- Coordinate the Book Hub function by managing the purchasing, receiving, and distribution of textbooks and student supplies, tracking borrowed items for return, and maintaining an up-to-date inventory in collaboration with the Inventory Administrator.
- Support campus administrative functions to enhance the student experience by assisting staff and instructors, managing student records and communications, maintaining filing systems, and ensuring timely completion of tasks and deadlines.
- Uphold College standards by consistently demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and respect for students, colleagues, and the institution, while adhering to policies, procedures, and quality standards set by the College and regulatory bodies, and fostering positive interpersonal relationships with staff and students.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Degree, diploma or certificate from a recognized University or College in a relevant discipline (Degree preferred).
- Three years’ experience in a service-oriented environment.
- Experience in a private post-secondary environment is considered an asset.
- Keyboarding speed at 40wpm with accuracy.
- Solid working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and ability to troubleshoot minor computer problems.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task and attention to detail.
- Ability to use various office equipment including fax and photocopy machines and multi-line telephone switchboard.
- Knowledge of the provincial Student Assistance Program and services provided by the organization
