Industrial Electrician

Wage $39.24/hour

Shift Afternoon or night shift (flexibility with working overtime, and on weekends, as necessary)

Job Details

• Provide technical support to operations; including troubleshooting, parts identification and repair of equipment
• Primary responsibility for operational performance - measured through efficiency percentages
• Act as liaison for OEM support for advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Participate in continuous improvement activities including root cause analysis and efficiency improvement initiatives.
• Perform routine corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance as needed on automation equipment
• Lead training for operators and other technicians on function and operation of equipment
• Develop operating standards and documentation
• Provide input on stock levels of spare parts as it relates to equipment
• Read and interpret schematic diagrams
• Periodic shift changes required for training, vacation coverage and special projects
• Aptitude with mechanical and electrical systems, vacation coverage for either mechanics or electricians
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• Must have Industrial Electrician License (442A) or Construction and Maintenance 309A
• Experience and education in hardware and software support and troubleshooting skills
• Strong Mechanical Aptitude
• 2-5 years' industrial, electrical and mechanical experience, preferably in the food industry
• Strong knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and ability to assist all trades people as required
• Problem solving skills and good communication skills are required
• Ability to work afternoon or night shift, as well as on weekends and holidays
• Must be comfortable lifting up to 50lbs as needed
