Security Supervisor

Overview:

$24.50 / hour

Candidates must be a minimum age of 18 years.

Joining our Canada’s Wonderland team means you’ll provide guests with exceptional service when they visit the park.

You’ll also…

Operating Season:

• Assist with supervision of seasonal Security team including administration, training/mentoring
• Exhibit excellent guest services skills to support park safety and security goals
• Support departments during security incidents
• Patrol park property and provide assistance to guests
• Issue trespass notices as required by situations
• Participate in site-specific fire and safety training and monitoring (sprinkler and fire alarm systems)
• Other department duties as required
  
  

Non-Operating Season:

• Train, mentor and lead non-operating season park patrol staff as required
• First response to first aid calls off hours, responsible for departmental associate injury claims
• Monitor and respond to security and/or environmental alarms
• Monitor Health & Safety programs and report violations of safety policy
• Assist with other duties as required

Qualifications:

• You!
• Previous experience in Senior Security at Canada’s Wonderland, or equivalent experience
• Graduates from a post secondary Law Enforcement program is an asset
• Candidates that possess a valid Ontario Security Guard license, driver’s license (with a clean abstract) and First Aid/CPR certificates
• Individuals who possess excellent problem-solving skills and able to deal with stressful situations
• Candidates with supervisory experience is an asset
• Individuals that are able to present a professional manner and positive attitude
• Applicants that can provide their own CSA approved steel toed black boots
• Candidates that are available to work a variety of rotating shifts, including midnights, on weekends and holidays
