We are hiring an Account Executive to join our Emerging Products team! As an Account Executive in this new team, you will play a critical role in introducing our new product suite to the market, building relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role is perfect for someone who is entrepreneurial, resourceful, and excited by the opportunity to grow something from 0 to 1!

The salary provided comprehends both base and variable. Commissions are uncapped.This role follows a hybrid schedule. We require team members to be in the office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with the option to work remotely on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our office is located in downtown Vancouver, and we believe this balance fosters strong collaboration while supporting flexibility.

About the role

  • Prospect and Build Pipelines: Identify and engage potential customers within the transit authority and related sectors, focusing on our new product offerings.
  • Market Development: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to understand target markets, refine value propositions, and tailor outreach strategies.
  • Lead Generation: Use innovative and creative methods to generate leads and book meetings with key decision-makers.
  • Solution Selling: Understand customer pain points and demonstrate how our solutions can address their unique challenges.
  • Product-Market Fit: Play a key role in identifying and achieving product-market fit for new offerings, leveraging customer feedback and market insights.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor throughout the sales process.
  • Feedback Loop: Provide valuable market insights and feedback to the product and leadership teams to refine strategies and offerings.
  • Meet and Exceed Targets: Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets, contributing to the growth of the company.

About you

  • Experience with consultative sales (ideally 5+ years), preferably in SaaS/Tech
  • Experience selling to government agencies in Canada and/or USA
  • Experience working with pre-product-market-fit solutions and ability to help achieve Product Market Fit
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation skills) with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences in a personable way
  • Experience with long and complex sales cycles (4+ months and dealing with multiple stakeholders)
  • Proven experience attaining quotas over 600k ARR
  • Strong experience working cross-functionally (with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams)
  • Based in Vancouver with the flexibility to work in a hybrid capacity or eligible to work in Canada as a full-time employee and willing to relocate to Vancouver
  • Availability to travel frequently within Canada and the USA (3 to 4 times/month)

It will be considered a plus:

  • Experience selling Transit Technology
  • Academic background in Urban Planning, Environmental Science, Sociology, Sustainability, etc
  • Experience in a High Growth Organisation
