Finance Manager

Overview:

Our client is looking for a finance professional who will be responsible for leading the finance and accounting function for the company. This role will be the finance business partner for the CFO and a key member of the leadership team. The role will lead the platform budget, business plan, forecast and actuals reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with management to delight customers, optimize costs, create value innovations, and expand markets
• Develop with management in planning, measuring, and reporting on performance of key business areas and identification of opportunities to improve profitability through pricing, cost efficiency and operational excellence
• Analyse and review job costing on a daily basis
• Optimize financial performance and reporting
• Develop, lead, and manage financial analysis for strategic planning, strategic initiatives, acquisitions, due diligence, business process optimization, and special projects
• Analyze price/cost performance and develop strategies to protect gross margin for orders in backlog
• Develop connections with internal and external customers on business issues that impact financial projections
• Direct analysis in key business areas and provide monthly financial results for management
• Develop the team's knowledge of the business to help identify and drive efficiency opportunities
• Drive continuous improvement activities to increase the effectiveness of financial processes and supporting information systems

Qualifications:

• CPA
• University business degree
• Job costing and analysis experience preferred
• 3+ years of management experience
• Ability to interact with company personnel, build strong relations at all levels and across all business units and organizations
• Strong understanding of the business impact on different financial policies and processes
• Ability to travel 10%
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
