The Role
We are seeking a Manager, Construction to join our Manufacturing Engineering team.
This leader will have exceptional planning, leadership, and problem-solving skills and will be responsible for managing and coordinating all on-site elements across multiple overlapping projects. This role will report to the SVP Manufacturing and requires an individual driven to exceed the expectations of our project success.
Please be advised, it is expected this role will consist of up to 30% travel to other Attabotics locations and/or client sites.

The Role

Who You Are
- Degree/diploma Degree in Construction Management or Trade ticket with relevant experience
- 10+ years’ experience of Construction or MHE installation experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role in Construction
- Client facing experience and strong leadership capabilities
- Ability to read and interpret all contract documents, including project drawings, specifications, shop drawings, scopes of works, subcontracts, etc.
- Strong knowledge of the Construction industry and project management organizational principles
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize duties and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work as part of a cross functional team.
- Ability to travel within and outside the country is required
- Supervising, scheduling, and coordinating workers, subcontractors, suppliers and equipment as required ensuring the project is completed on schedule and budget
- Liaise with project management team, designers, engineers, clients to achieve the scope of work
- Design, implement and manage best practice construction models
- Responsible for setting up construction and administration contracts, and gathering all necessary licenses and permits
- Supervise construction purchase requests
- Problem solves jobsite issues quickly and effectively to keep work on track and on time
- Conduct site meetings as required with weekly project reporting
- Provide daily site and weekly safety reports
- Ensure work is done in compliance with all regulations and all applicable health & safety policies and procedures
- Coordinate and carry out inspections and reviews
- Coordinate on site logistics and workflow
