About PLASP
PLASP Child Care Services is a charitable organization operating on a not-for-profit basis, providing high quality early learning and child care for children up to 12 years of age. The curriculum for PLASP Centres is based on the HighScope approach, where children develop important skills including language, pre-math and pre-reading skills. The daily routine is designed to allow time for the children to explore and learn independently and for the adults to plan more structured teaching time. All programming incorporates the Ministry of Education pedagogy, How Does Learning Happen? The PLASP Centres also follow other quality initiatives like Raising the Bar, AQI, and PQA.
PLASP is committed to hiring, training, and fairly compensating staff. All Ontarians have the right to equal treatment with respect to employment without discrimination or harassment.
