Position: Family Lawyer (minimum of 2-3 years of experience)

Position: Family Lawyer (minimum of 2-3 years of experience)
Responsibilities
- Independently manage family law files.
- Handle a wide range of family law matters, including separation agreements, spousal maintenance, and asset division.
- Conduct hearings, discoveries, mediations, and trials.
- Instruct support staff and receive instructions from clients.
- Draft pleadings and speak to chamber applications.
- Negotiate at mediations and appear at trials.
- Manage all aspects of a file from beginning to end.
- Experience in general civil litigation is an asset.
- Minimum of 2 years of current experience in British Columbia family law practice.
- Ability to handle challenging work and manage files independently.
- Strong judgment, work ethic, and interpersonal skills.
- Desire to become part of the community served.
- Enthusiasm for growing practice and working towards partnership.
- Strong academic transcripts.
- Base salary depending on the year of call
