Interior Health is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Team at Royal Inland Hospital located in Kamloops. This position is Relief Full Time (1.00 FTE) working rotating day, evening and night shifts. This relief position will provide coverage until the return of the incumbent.

About The Job

Pharmacists are at the forefront of healthcare, providing essential pharmacy services. Duties include interpreting medication orders and prescriptions, assessing therapeutic suitability, and ensuring medications are efficiently and accurately dispensed, compounded, and labeled.

You will communicate with healthcare professionals and patients to resolve prescription issues, offer instructions on medication use, and participate in medication use evaluations, safety initiatives, quality control activities, and clinical drug trials. You will also ensure all activities comply with legal, professional, and departmental standards.
