Position Overview:
The Analyst, International Operations is responsible for the management and coordination of all international shipments leaving from our 3PL global distribution centre to distributor customers and local Canada Goose locations in EMEA and APAC regions. This role is responsible for coordinating with our 3PL partners and key business stakeholders to ensure KPIs are met, as well as navigating Canada Goose’s constantly changing business environment.
What You'll Do:
- Coordinate all international outbound orders from 3PL global distribution centre to Distributor customers and Canada Goose 3PL partners in EMEA and APAC regions.
- Complete required customs documentation and book transportation for all orders according to planned timelines.
- Follow-up with key stakeholders on international teams (ex. Logistics and Finance) to release orders and remove from credit hold.
- Work with Transportation and Trade Compliance teams to ensure best practice and resolve any issues related to international shipments.
- Create and maintain all documentation related to the tracking of these orders using data from ERP, WMS and Transportation systems, providing visibility including lead times to management and cross-functional departments on time.
- Validate transactions flow properly between ERP and WMS and work with IT team to resolve issues as required.
- Work with international Sales teams and Distributor contacts to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform internal control procedures where required, provide requested POD and other documentation as requested by internal/external audit as required.
- Adhere to internal controls to ensure transactional accuracy across all 3PL locations.
- Work with Transportation team to locate any missing shipments and address issues with final delivery as necessary.
- Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot issues and implement proactive mitigation.
- Contribute to projects and initiatives, identify improvement opportunities, implement and track outcomes.
- Create and maintain SOP documentation to support daily activities.
- Execute flawless service to international customers and Canada Goose Regional Offices.
Let's Talk About You:
- 3-4 years of business experience, preferably in Distribution or Logistics.
- Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma.
- Supply Chain and/or Trade Certification an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Good financial and business acumen, and customer experience awareness.
- Adaptability and flexibility with taking on different tasks as required.
- Ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Working knowledge of ERP systems.
- Ability to foster exceptional relationships with key business partners across Canada Goose and 3PL partners.
