Professional Practice Lead Social Worker (25-R40)
Bargaining Unit: Non-Union/Management (for internal employees of SJCG)

Rate of Pay: $43.910 - $54.895
Reporting to the Director, Collaborative Practice, the Professional Practice Leader is a valuable member of the Collaborative Practice team, responsible for promoting the advancement of the profession through practice, education, and research with an emphasis on collaboration, communication, innovation, quality, and safety. The role involves representing the profession internally and externally, acting as a liaison with academic institutions, and promoting inter-professional practice across the organization. The Professional Practice Leader is also a resource to the regulated health professional group and others in the organization on profession-specific issues.
NOTE: This position is for internal employees of St. Joseph's Care Group.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
- Current registration with the applicable profession-specific College
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
- Membership with the applicable profession-specific association
Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical practice, ideally within an inter-professional environment
- Excellent leadership, teaching, and mentorship skills
- Commitment to evidence-based clinical practice and ongoing professional development
- Skills and experience in professional/academic writing (reports, proposals, research papers, poster presentations)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and computer skills
Conditions of Employment:
- Must undergo a successful Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC)
