The Account Executive will be responsible for account management and ad agency advertising sales for PRN's Canadian In-store retail media networks. Additionally, as a member of PRN's advertising sales team, the Account Executive will be responsible for maximizing revenue opportunities for the Retail Ad Networks which requires managing direct accounts and developing new business, while working with both national and regional advertisers and their respective advertising agencies. The Account Executive will be responsible for successful sales, new business development, account growth and maintenance, while meeting or exceeding quota goals.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage advertising sales related activities on behalf of PRN with a specified list of ad agency and other related accounts be it direct or otherwise.
  • Prospect and lead outreach initiatives to advertisers to bring new net new business to the ad network or networks.
  • Develop account specific sales strategies targeting advertising revenue growth for the network from all assigned accounts.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all key decision makers including client and agency-based personnel and all relevant decision makers.
  • Maintain general understanding of industries and competitive activities that relate to all assigned accounts.
  • Provide weekly updates to Head of Advertising Sales.

Education and Experience:

  • At least 3-5 years sales experience in a media/marketing/advertising, shopper marketing, promotions or organization that focuses on media. Experience in Retail Media considered an asset.
  • Bachelor's degree, College Diploma and/or relevant/equal business experience in related field.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Proven and outstanding track record of success in selling marketing services and/or advertising to brands and their ad agencies.
  • Understanding of media, promotional, and/or marketing services sales strategies to brands and agencies. Able to articulate and implement these strategies effectively.
  • Experience selling to consumer-packaged goods companies.
  • Ability to react and adapt in the rapidly changing and growing marketplace of digital out-of-home and retail media.
  • Understanding of retail merchandising an asset.
  • Established relationships with key decision makers at clients and agencies.
