Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will be a part of the Land Development team, based in Calgary office.

The successful applicants will be joining a diverse engineering group in Western Canada poised for growth and challenging opportunities well into the future. This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Director, Land Development Western Canada.

We work for many of the top land developers in and around the City of Calgary on large and multifaceted projects and with a broad variety of partners from planners to archaeologists to approving authorities. We provide our team with an opportunity to work in an industry that has a large beneficial impact on the residents of the City of Calgary and surrounding area.

  • Assisting Project Managers, construction supervisors, and project teams with financial, project management and contract management tasks as identified by the Manager.

What your experience looks like

  • 5 years or more of related experience.
  • Have a strong customer service orientation.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills.
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • Bring a high level of knowledge in Microsoft Office. MS Office Apps primarily used include: Excel, Project, SharePoint, Word.
  • Possess a knack for the use of various computer applications such as accounting (Deltek), Bluebeam and proprietary software.
  • Having a background in Land Development, preferably in the Calgary Region, is an asset.
  • Having a background in construction cost estimation and quantity measurement is an asset.
  • Having an understanding of accounting and project management principles and practices is an asset.
