We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization’s IT infrastructure, which includes both network and system setups. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of our systems and network environments. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in network, system architecture / administration and the integration of both with best security practice principle in mind. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting complex issues, optimizing network and system performance, and collaborating with other departments to ensure business continuity and technology alignment with organizational goals.

- Design and implement network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless networks, and related technologies
- Maintain and optimize the performance of routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment
- Monitor network performance, resolve network issues, and troubleshoot connectivity problems
- Implement and manage network security protocols, including firewall configurations, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs
- Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and migrations in alignment with business needs
- Design, implement, and maintain servers (physical and virtual), operating systems, and storage solutions
- Ensure server availability, reliability, and performance through proactive monitoring and system updates
- Manage Active Directory, user access control, and group policies
- Oversee server and system security, including patch management, firewalls, and antivirus/malware protection
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate system-related issues as needed
- Conduct regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and data integrity tests
- Ensure that network and system infrastructures meet corporate security policies and compliance standards
- Regularly assess and perform security audits of the infrastructure to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Respond to security incidents and participate in recovery efforts if required
- Manage the integration of on-premise systems with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure
- Support hybrid cloud infrastructure and ensure seamless integration between on-site and cloud-based systems
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support IT-related projects and initiatives
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff
- Document system configurations, network setups, and procedures to maintain operational continuity and compliance
- Document system changes, incidents, issue causes and solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on both network and system administration
- Strong network infrastructure knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing/switching, firewall and network security
- Strong experience with Palo Alto firewalls and security tools
- Extensive experience with Windows Server, Linux/Unix, and virtualized environments (VMware or other solutions.)
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azur
- Strong experience with network and system performance management tools
- Excellent hands-on experience with disaster recovery and backup solutions with tape library
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong planning, communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Network certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+
- Firewall certification for Palo Alto
- System certifications for Microsoft Windows infrastructure
- Cloud infrastructure certification for AWS and Azure
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools: Teraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef
- Familiarity with scripting languages: Batch, PowerShell, Bash
- Familiarity with Docker, K8S, ECS etc
