Bayshore Medical Personnel is currently seeking a full-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta who has a minimum of three (3) years of Pharmacy Assistant experience, and an interest in providing healthcare services to a unique patient population!

This is a great opportunity for a Pharmacy Assistant looking for Monday - Friday day shifts only (no nights, no weekends), and who is ready for an exciting challenge working with an extremely unique and rewarding patient population!

Under the direction of the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Assistant will assist in providing pharmacy services such as: compounding, packaging and labeling pharmaceutical products, maintaining prescription records, and conducting inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of three (3) years of Pharmacy Assistant experience within the last five (5) years providing direct patient care and working in one or more clinical settings, such as a hospital or community setting.

Candidates must also have:

  • Current certificate of Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or equivalent
  • Diploma in a Pharmacy Assistant or Pharmacy Technician program from a post-secondary school is a strong asset

Other Requirements (facilitated by Bayshore during onboarding):

  • Current N95 mask fit certificate CSA Standards Z94.4 (within 2 years)
  • Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) Certification (within 2 years)
