Role impact:
The QA Analyst will provide Business Information support to all levels of the organization and will be required to create and implement new methods of reporting information effectively and accurately. This role must be familiar with the functionality of various operating systems such as CF Voyager, Data Platform, Commercial Cafe and SSLE. One of the primary focuses of this role will be to bring the Yardi and Data Platform systems together so that information in the two systems is the same. The QA Analyst must clearly understand the flow of information in the two systems to be able to provide the user up-to-date and accurate information at all times. This includes understanding the way both systems are structured in order to retrieve the best possible information.
Communication, both written and oral, is essential in this position as this is a service-oriented position. In addition, strong presentation skills are required as the QA Analyst’s main role includes the training of various systems and applications.
What you will deliver:
- Work with in-house programmers and end users to develop new reports/processes for Accounts Receivable, Lease setup and Recoveries Billing
- Monitor current list of in-house programs and requests to ensure timely completion and testing
- Develop and implement new Yardi Voyager modules and applications by conducting user research, testing new products and recommending appropriate enhancements
- Maintain training and procedures manuals for the Yardi Voyager main-frame system by updating the manuals on a regular basis with current information in order to ensure users have access to the most current, accurate and consistent information possible
- Develop and implement testing plans for installation on new Yardi Voyager release and program fixes
- Deliver company-wide training curriculum for the Yardi Voyager main-frame system by conducting regular training sessions for users to ensure they have the skills and ability to use the system efficiently and are able to train new users
- Provide support to the users by responding to reported problems, running appropriate processes to determine errors and ensuring errors are addressed in a timely manner in order to decrease downtime and users can complete their tasks within prescribed timeframes
- Develop, modify and implement Query tools that analyze various Accounts Receivable, Lease setup and Recoveries Billing applications to improve accuracy and effectiveness of information to users
- Assist in the development of various reporting tools to allow users to query and analyze data in an efficient and effective method
- Conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly audits to ensure that proper policies and procedures are being adhered to by all users. In addition, ensuring Internal Audit’s recommendations are being adhered to
- Prepare ad-hoc queries and reports as requested by management or other departments within the organization such as Investments, National Promotions, Internal Audit and Marketing.
- Prepare monthly reports as required by Management
- Manage the annual Recharge Rate Process providing training and support as necessary
- Manage the Lease setup and Recoveries Billing straight line rent process including the development of necessary reports and providing user support as it relates to Lease set-up and Recoveries Billing.
- Backfill for Lease Administration Analyst during vacancies and support regions
- Subject Matter Expert in Year-end billing lease language and system set up
- Assist Senior Director of Finance Services with special projects as required

What you need to succeed:
- Post-secondary education in a related discipline such as Business, Commerce or Law
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Accounting, Lease Administration or Revenue Control.
- Strong computer skills including MS Office, Google Suite, Yardi, SSLE, PRISM and Web Reporting
- Previous training or supervisory experience an asset
