The role of Content Claims Specialists is multi-faceted, focusing primarily on four key areas of edjuster’s content claims handling operations:

  • Act as an intermediary between the Insurance Company's property adjusters and their policyholders, assisting with the inventory and valuations of total loss contents.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of content claims using edjuster’s claims handling methodology and its pricing platform, exclaim.
  • Operate from home-based offices, consistently assigned new claim files.
  • Record all daily claims handling activity, including hours worked and tasks completed.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct onsite visits to meet adjusters/policyholders and inventory total loss contents.
  • Ensure consistent quality and turnaround of all claims according to the Company’s standards.
  • Work with other teams to organize resources for efficient inventory and LKQ valuations.
  • Provide timely updates on the content claims process to adjusters/policyholders.
  • Complete and submit detailed daily work/time logs for all claim tasks completed.
  • Maintain claim-related notes in the Company's platform, exclaim.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion/pricing of outstanding items adhering to LKQ standards.
  • Promote edjuster’s brand and reputation professionally.
  • May be exposed to diverse conditions (cold, heat, rain, debris, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • Secondary School diploma.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Some background/experience in the Property claims industry is an asset.
  • Provide an adequate, noise-free workspace.
  • Own high-speed internet service required.
  • Company equipment provided, maintenance responsibility lies with the employee.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
  • Regular travel to loss sites required; occasional overnight travel may be necessary, expenses covered by edjuster.
  • Strong computer skills (Office 365 & Windows 10).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change and new technology.
  • Willingness to learn and continuously improve.
