Gameday Operator

We have opportunities for football-focused Sport Scientists/Performance Analysts to join Sportable’s matchday client delivery teams across Canada. Enthusiastic and professional individuals with a strong attention to detail and a keen interest in sports technology are preferred. Successful candidates will travel to various football stadiums to set up and operate Sportable’s ball tracking technology for CFL games, liaising with Sportable employees and matchday officials in a fast-paced environment. Full training will be provided.

Main Responsibilities:

• Set up, monitor and operate Sportable’s ball tracking technology at selected games
• Liaise with Sportable staff, stadium staff, teams and broadcasters to ensure smooth and professional service delivery
• Complete post-game coding of game datasets

Requirements:

• Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of football
• Ability to work weekdays or weekends and unsociable hours when required

Desirable:

• Currently studying or a graduate of Sport Science, Performance Analysis or related degrees
• Hands-on experience with similar sports technology
• Experience with performance analysis software for live coding of events
• Full driver’s license & access to a personal vehicle

• Capable of working in high pressure and fast-paced environments
• Experience working in a team environment

Reporting To: Field Operation Coordinator / Client Delivery Manager, North America

Salary: $15-25/hr CAD
