Business Unit

Hadrian is a worldwide supplier of quality toilet partition and locker products. Hadrian was the first manufacturer to powder coat toilet partitions and has continued to embrace new technologies and materials in order to offer architects, designers and end-users more flexibility in design. Hadrian’s wide range of toilet partition products includes; powder coated metal, stainless steel, embossed stainless steel, and solid plastic. Lockers are available in Emperor (corridor), Gladiator (athletic) and replacement front styles.

The Engineering Intern is responsible to support for process improvements continually working to identify, develop and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of company operations.

Responsibilities

  • Investigates production related Quality issues, implements corrective action, recommends modifications to processes and procedures
  • Takes on projects related to facility layout, process flow
  • Researches, recommends, manages projects to implement new processes
  • Continually looking for process automation and innovation opportunities
  • Contributes to Research and Development projects as they relate to production/process
  • Prepares and maintains all shop floor drawings using AutoCAD
  • Prepares and maintains all CNC based programs
  • Works closely with Quality team to prepare and maintain documents- NCM, SWI, SOP
  • Continually works closely with Production Manager and Production Supervisors to maximize production capacity.
  • Contributes to the overall functioning of the team by maintaining awareness of best practices/emerging issues, both internally and externally, sharing best practices and building effective working relationships across the team and company.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and noise with moderate exposure to chemicals.
  • Environment warrants the use of prescribed PPE (CSA Approved Safety boots, Safety glasses, hearing protection and other prescribed PPE depending on the department assigned.
  • Work requiring fine motors skills, repetitive motion, standing and or lifting up to 50 lbs.
