Announcer & Activation Specialist - Mountain FM

Who We're Looking For

Mountain FM is seeking a dynamic personality to be an On-Air Host and an Activation Specialist . The successful candidate will be extremely organized, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and know how to multi-task and prioritize. The position requires constant interaction with programming and sales so we're looking for someone with stellar people skills and a flexible schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Planning and executing on-air and online radio promotions.
  • Host Daily Show.
  • Execute station events and on-site promotions.
  • Assemble promotional proposals for internal and external clients.
  • Develop, manage and execute station contests and promotions.
  • Assist in managing inventory of prizing and promotional air time.
  • Attend all major station promotions and designated client promotions as needed.
  • Attend and participate in weekly meetings as required.
  • Manage the content and visual elements of the website.
  • Execute local social media strategy, activity monitoring and reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring .

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, team player with a positive attitude and a strong desire and passion to succeed.
  • Ability to work well under minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
  • Highly detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Written and editorial skills.
  • Understanding of all social media platforms and best use.
  • Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Photo Shop and Word Press
  • A great attitude.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours
  • Must hold a valid driver's licence and provide driver's abstract.
