The Dufresne Group is currently seeking a Product Manager for our eCommerce Team within our Home Office located at 147 Commerce Drive in Winnipeg, MB.

As a Product Manager, eCommerce you will be responsible for working closely with teams across the organization to define and evolve our eCommerce sites. The Product Manager is a strategic and executional role that bridges the gap between business strategy and platform capabilities. As a customer champion, this user-centric role will identify and prioritize the site features and functionality to improve the online shopping experience and drive revenue growth. The Product Manager helps define the product roadmap and bring it to life through a structured product development life cycle. This includes gathering requirements, planning, and implementing projects to deliver product solutions to customer and business problems.

As The Product Manager, ECommerce You Will

  • Manage the project life cycle from ideation, requirements gathering and writing to testing and release management in an Agile environment.
  • Represent customer and business needs to drive feature implementation and development through collaboration with business stakeholders, UX/UI, and engineering teams.
  • Leverage data to improve the online consumer and omnichannel experience.
  • Contribute to roadmap development and maintain a prioritized feature backlog based on business value ROI, alignment with product strategy, and resource capacity.
  • Gather, research, and define requirements from business owners and translate business needs into solutions/system design.
  • Build and leverage solid working relationships with business and product stakeholders. Inspire and guide the organization toward product feature implementation.
  • Measure ongoing impacts of delivered features and functionality to enhance future iterations.
  • Effectively deliver and communicate projects, timelines, progress, and outcomes across multiple departments.
  • Ensure continuous awareness of technology/eCommerce platform developments that may impact our product.

As a Successful Candidate You Will Have The Following

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, computer science, information sciences, psychology, or human factors preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • 3+ years' experience as a Product Manager and/or Product owner applying a user-centric and problem-solving mindset.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with cross-functional technical and business teams in a distributed environment.
  • Familiarity and passion for eCommerce and retail.
  • Solid understanding of user experience, site operations, and online merchandising.
  • Experience using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or equivalent is an asset.
  • Experience with Shopify and Shopify Plus.
  • Project planning and management skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Project Management is an asset.
  • Critical and out-of-the-box thinking skills, curiosity, and open-mindedness.
