Job Summary
Responsible for shipping and handling of company inventory, adhering to security policies related to shipping, receiving, and inventory corrections.
Essential Job Functions
- Meet and exceed store and personal performance standards
- Ensure proper implementation of company initiatives according to company direction
- Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing products
- Check accuracy of shipping and receiving documents (e.g., POS reports, bills of lading)
- Manage store inventories, ensuring proper handling of merchandise
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked merchandise area
- Communicate and resolve issues with the Store Manager
- Report stock replenishment needs to relevant departments
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager and Co-Manager
Job Requirements
- Prior retail management experience preferred
- 1-2 years of retail sales experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Desire to succeed in a fast-paced retail environment
- Bilingualism as required (Quebec only)
- Willingness to learn
- Completion of training programs leading to Manager in Training position
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Stand for long periods
